Weekly Visits
SUPERINTENDENT CONNECTION TO KIDS!
As Superintendent of the Owen J. Roberts School District, I am the educational leader of this school system. The students’ academic, social, and emotional growth is of utmost importance to me. I also wish to support the teachers and administrators to the maximum of my ability to accomplish the goals of the District.
One of the best ways to support students, teachers, and administrators is for me to make personal connections with them. When I became Superintendent of Owen J., I made a commitment to visit one school each week for a half day.
This has been one of the most important and valuable parts of my job. I know the students, the teachers and what is going on in their classrooms. After I visit a school, I always prepare a detailed e-mail sent to “Everyone in OJR” to describe what I have seen in each school. I have decided to place these e-mails on the website so that each of you may share in the snapshot of the schools that I see on any given day.
