Facilities Planning at OJR
Charting a Path Forward
In alignment with its annual district goals, Owen J. Roberts School District is committed to infrastructure excellence as we develop a more accessible and an improved overall academic experience for our students.
Infrastructure excellence is an essential component of the learning environment we create for our students, We have heard from students, families, and staff, that there is a desire to address and improve the quality of our school district facilities, providing a modern and capacity-appropriate experience.
As part of the planning and development process, over a multi-year period of time, we have sought the professional expertise and help from the community to develop a Long-Term Facilities Plan. This plan looks at the needs of all of our district facilities as it relates to serving our students and their families, and charts a path forward to ensure they have spaces that directly support their academic needs and their K-12 educational experience.
A key component of the Long-Term Facilities Plan is the Secondary Campus Improvement plan, which provides an in-depth strategic approach to addressing the infrastructure needs of a 2,700 student campus that is home to both Owen J. Roberts High School and Owen J. Roberts Middle School.
We invite the community to learn more about the plans and concepts related to this important work and gain a better understanding of the entire development process.
