Non-Public School Transportation

The District will comply with the provisions of Act 372 of 1972 that established the requirements for the public school systems to transport non-public school students. Parents of resident non-public school students who require transportation services are required to submit an Act 372 form to the Owen J. Roberts Transportation Department in order to receive District transportation. 

Important Reminders

  • Act 372: Request for Transportation forms are to be filled out annually by the student’s parent/guardian and are to be completed online. 
    • The form may not be completed by non-public school personnel. 
    • A separate form must be completed for each student.
  • Non-public school transportation will be provided only to state-certified, non-profit, private schools that provide evidence of such certification to the District.
  • Non-public students residing outside the District are not permitted to ride District-operated buses under any circumstances.
  • If a student does not utilize the bus service for a period of 10 consecutive school days, they will be removed from the bus roster. The lack of ridership is reported by the bus driver. In the event that transportation services are required again, parents or guardians must initiate contact with the Transportation Department to request the reinstatement of bus services.
