• ENVIROTHON

The Chester County Envirothon is an outdoor competition for 4th and 5th grade students that involves identifying the trees, birds, fish, mammals, reptiles and amphibians of Chester County and Pennsylvania.  Participants also need to know about concepts like predator/prey relationships, ecosystems, and the water cycle. The competition takes place at Hibernia County Park in May.  If you are selected for the Envirothon Team you will meet after school, usually on Mondays, and learn about nature and ecology.  There is even a weekend field trip to Warwick County Park! If you are a 4th or 5th grade student interested in applying to be on the Envirothon team, click on the link to the application below, which will measure your knowledge of Pennsylvania trees, wildlife, and ecology.  The link will be open until February 23rd, 2023.
