Dear Parents/Guardians,

The new school year is launched and we begin the joy of music making.
Evidence continues to focus on the arts (music) as a vital component in the positive growth of every child. Based on extended studies we now know it is the very process of learning music that develops the artistic mind and brings forth the creative potential in all young people. For this reason, I must emphasize the importance of your role in helping the individual members to fulfill their musical responsibilities and commitment to the choral program by encouraging the study of their respective voice parts -- 100% attendance, promptness, respect and courtesy at all times.
Finally, I ask you to encourage your children to be:
    1.  Very active in their respective ensembles.
    2.  To have a serious commitment to their music.
    3.  To accept the challenge of rigour in performance
    4. To have respect and pride in their endeavours.

These important ingredients are invaluable in developing well rounded and excellent students.

It is a privilege to have your children in the choral program.  Thank you for your support. You play an important and vital role as an choral parent.
