Important for Seniors: Within the next few months you will submitting your Reflective Project and your Language Learning and Service Learning Portfolios. Some of you have had your portfolio meetings with me already and know what you need to do to finish up. If you have not, one will be scheduled for the first weeks of the new year. Please have both of your portfolios ready for review when you come to that meeting.
Important for Juniors:
I will be scheduling meetings with you in February to discuss your Service Learning and Language Portfolios. You will receive passes in your advisory for those meetings. I look forward to hearing about your service ideas.

The International Baccalaureate Career Program (IBCP) Informational meeting will be held during Course Selection Night in the LGI.
Mr. Richardson will be present to provide information about the IBCP scheduling process to parents of 10th-11th grade students. Snow date is February 7th at 7:00 P.M.
IBCP Presentation to 10th Graders:

International Baccalaureate Career Program
On July 24, 2017 Owen J. Roberts High School became an IB World School, Career-related Programme (IBCP). In part, the letter informing us of our status as an IB World School states: "As an IB World School, you are part of a global community of schools committed to developing knowledgeable, caring young people who will be ready to negotiate their futures successfully and make contributions resulting in a more harmonious and peaceful world. We commend your school's educators, administrators, students and families for their active roles in choosing to offer the IBCC." You can find us listed on the IB website: IB World School.

The first group of IB students will complete the second year of the IBCP this year as seniors. Our second group of IB students will be starting teh program as juniors at the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year.
