OJR High School Earns Jostens National Yearbook Design Recognition
Owen J. Roberts High School’s yearbook featured in Jostens Look Book 2025
Pottstown – April 1, 2025 – Owen J. Roberts High School’s yearbook, The Ledger, has been recognized for excellence and featured in the Jostens Look Book 2025, celebrating the best-of-the-best in yearbook design and inclusivity. The Jostens Look Book is a collection of outstanding yearbooks and their creative themes, cool covers, beautiful designs, relevant coverage of school events, meaningful storytelling, and stunning photography. Along with design excellence, the annually published Look Book honors the work of the students who create the yearbook over the course of 6-12 months. Through it, they chronicle the experiences, stories, and achievements most relevant to students and that academic year.
The 2024 Ledger was created by editors Cora Garner (’24), Lia Jaeger (’24), Kenzie Gorman (’24), Meghan Grashof (’24), Charlie Wilkes (’24), Olivia Savochka (’24), Nicole Seraphin (’25), and junior editors Annison Schwoyer (’25), Garrett Lobley (’26), and Gianna Meccariello (’24), under the direction of Megan Cook, Owen J. Roberts High School’s yearbook adviser. The featured yearbook spread was created by staff member Ethan Bochanski (’25) with the help of the editors and adviser.
The featured spread was the fall divider in the 2024 Ledger. It was chosen for its dominant element, photo quality, and use of font/typography.
Along with the featured divider, the Jostens Look Book showcased Sera Barbato’s (’27) winning photo from the 2024 Jostens North American Photo Contest. Barbato earned 5th place in the Student Life category last spring.
“My students put in so many hours during class and outside of school throughout the year to produce the yearbook and spring supplement,” said Megan Cook, Ledger Editorial Adviser. “I’m delighted to see my yearbook students’ hard work recognized by the Jostens yearbook community!”

Owen J. Roberts High School Ledger was one of only 485 yearbooks selected from nearly one thousand yearbooks submitted. The 2025 panel of judges, composed of nationally recognized scholastic journalism professionals and award-winning yearbook advisers, selected the best examples of yearbook spreads and covers to make up the 320-page Look Book 2025.
“The Jostens Look Book showcases the hard work and dedication of students who tell the story of the school year through photos and words. It is their collaboration and communication, as well as creative thinking in challenging situations, that results in the fine designs shown in this book,” said Kristen Scott, Yearbook Marketing Senior Manager at Jostens. “We are very proud to celebrate the ability of this country’s future leaders and communicators by showcasing their sophisticated designs and photography.”
Megan Cook and her yearbook staff received a copy of the Jostens Look Book 2025 with a plaque and banner from Jostens to recognize their outstanding achievement.
The Jostens Look Book is rated as the #1 resource by Jostens yearbook advisers and staffs seeking creative design and coverage ideas, trends and inspiration (Jostens, 2020). The Look Book complements www.YearbookAvenue.com and www.facebook.com/JostensAdviserandStaff, Jostens online destinations for yearbook creation ideas.
