Tina Brewer Named OJR Employee of the Month for April 2025!

The Owen J. Roberts School District Employee of the Month Award is presented to members of our team who exemplify the Wildcat spirit and our district's commitment to, “Do the right thing at the right time for the right reason.” We are honored to announce Tina Brewer Employee of the Month for April! Tina is a Lead Custodian at Owen J. Roberts Middle School and has worked in our district for almost 15 years. Here's what a few of the staff members around the district had to say about Tina that earned her the employee of the month:
 
"Tina is one of the brightest lights at our middle school. As a custodian, she does so much more than keep our school clean—she creates an environment that feels warm, welcoming, and cared for. Her patience is steady and calming, her kindness touches everyone she meets, and her constant smile brings a little extra sunshine to every hallway. Tina reminds us all that small acts of grace and generosity make a big difference. We’re so lucky to have her as part of our school family."
 
"Tina is our quintessential 'Johnny on the Spot.' She is willing to do anything to help anyone in our building - no matter the time or place. Tina is conscientious about her work and takes the time to do the job well and asks if we need anything further done to beautify our spaces for our staff and our students. She does all of this with a smile on her face. The saying, ';always be humble and kind' is one she embraces wholly."
