9/22 Letter to Elementary Parents

Good afternoon.

As most stakeholders are aware, the school board and district administration are actively seeking out the opportunity to bring our students back into the school setting safely.  As a result of last night's school board meeting, our blended learning students will begin the phased-in process of returning to our elementary schools for instruction.  Please review Dr. Lloyd's update that she had sent the community last night.  Additionally, the elementary team is aware of parents that might want to move their child from the OJR Cyber Academy to Blended and some from Blended to Cyber.

Please take a few minutes to read the attached letter, which will outline the process and, most importantly, the deadlines for parents to make any changes to their child's instructional programming.  If you are not making any changes to the instructional approach (Cyber or Blended), you don't have to do anything.

Lastly, the entire elementary leadership team is working to meet the needs of our community and every child we serve.  Thank you for your understanding throughout the opening of the 2020-2021 school year, and if there are any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to your child's building principal.  Have a wonderful evening, and talk to you soon.
