Mental Health Supports

The School Counseling Department and Roberts Assistance Program (RAP) wanted to follow up on our message from March 16th to remind all students and families of the support resources that are available. 

As we approach the end of the school year, we wanted to make everyone aware of not only the supports in the high school but also the outside resources for students and families.  

There are numerous supports for all students (both in person and Cyber students)  including school counselors and mental health clinicians through our RAP(Roberts Assistance Program) office. Additionally, there are groups which meet that focus on stress management and COVID support. If you, or your child, are interested or in need of  these services, please email your counselor (or child’s counselor) directly. Additionally, we offer a Parent Resource Guide (located here: https://www.ojrsd.com/Page/6834) which contains contact information for outside counselors, therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, etc. if you choose to explore outside-of-school services. Many of these locations also run groups for students so be sure to check their websites for more information.
