Passive Camera Access in Classrooms Ending
Dear OJRSD Families and Staff,
Weekly Covid Update
According to the Chester County Health Department (CCHD), Chester County’s incident rate this week is 252.39 and positivity rate is 15.49% putting Chester County in the “high” transmission level, meaning everyone, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask in OJRSD buildings and schools.
Following the Board-approved Health & Safety Plan, masks are required of everyone, regardless of vaccination status, inside OJRSD buildings while we are in high transmission rates.
Any student and/or staff with COVID-19 symptoms should stay home and review the CCHD isolation tool for more information. If you have any questions, please contact your school principal. Staff should contact their direct supervisor if they have any questions.
Passive Camera Access in Classrooms Ending
As a reminder, the temporary passive camera access in our classrooms for students in grades 4-12 who were absent from school ends today, Friday, February 4, 2022. This temporary camera access was put in place in a response to the Covid-19 case surge. Now that cases are on the decline and OJRSD is no longer contact tracing, the systems that we had in place prior to winter break will resume. If you have any questions on instruction while your student is absent, please contact your school principal.
Sincerely,
Dr. Will Stout
Superintendent
