The Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) International awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting to the District for it's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for fiscal year ended June 30, 2020. This is the twentieth-eighth consecutive year the District has received this honor.
The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to the District for it's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for fiscal year ended June 30, 2019. This is the twentieth-seventh consecutive year the District has received this honor.
The budget of the District has been awarded the Meritorious Budget Award for the last twenty-seven consecutive fiscal years. The Owen J. Roberts School District was the first school entity in the nation to receive this award. Prior to the implementation of the MBA program, the Government Finance Officers Association awarded the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award to the District for fiscal years 1992-93, 1993-94, and 1994-95.
