East Vincent Elementary is gearing up for its first ever

    Wildcat Prowl Walk-a-thon

This event is a great way to get kids moving, having fun, and raising money for school activities throughout the year!

The Wildcat Prowl will be held on Friday, November 3rd during the school day (raindate: Friday, November 10th).

WILDCATS...get on your walking shoes!  This is your chance to have fun with your friends, get fit, and help make this a great year for East Vincent!  With everyone's help, we can make the walkathon a fun day for the whole school!

    Why a walkathon?

After trying other fundraisers (basket raffles), the PTA has decided on a walkathon as a fun and easy way to raise money.  The greatest part is that 100% of the funds raised will go directly back to benefit our students!

    How does it work?

The process is simple.  Students will ask people to be their "sponsors".

    • Sponsorship is a single donation and is not based on number of laps or minutes walking. A sponsor is anyone who will donate money for the child to participate in teh walkathon.
    • The sponsors may be friends, family members, and neighbors.  We do not wish for children to solicate donations door-to-door--at least not without an adult present!
    • Check with employers for Employee Matching!
    • Sponsors send in their donations!  The can mail cash or check to the provided self-addressed envelope.  A paypal option is also available on our website!

All students who participate in the walkathon receive a raffle ticket.  Students may earn extra tickets for every $20 they raise.  The prizes this year include:

    Amazon Echo Dot (2nd Generation)

Amazon Fire HD 8 Tablet with Alexa
