Welcome to East Vincent Elementary School
Welcome to the Owen J. Roberts School District and East Vincent Elementary School!
East Vincent Elementary School is a school that includes families from East Vincent and East Coventry Townships. We have over 500 students in grades K-6. Our students experience learning opportunities in a positive, safe environment created by a team of highly qualified faculty and staff. We facilitate experiences in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies at all grade levels and take into account students’ developmental, cognitive, social, behavioral, and emotional strengths and needs. East Vincent Elementary School qualifies for Title I federal funding and coordinates extra academic student support and family involvement events. Points of pride include our focus on social emotional learning, diversity and equity, staff and student leadership opportunities, the arts programs, an active Parent Teacher Association (P.T.A.), and a sense of caring and kindness among the entire East Vincent Elementary School community.
At East Vincent Elementary School, we communicate through a variety of avenues. We use e-mail to send Skylerts, which are e-mail blasts to our entire EVES community. We update our East Vincent Elementary School webpage at www.ojrsd.com/ev and upload pictures, messages, and videos to our Facebook and Twitter accounts. We send a weekly school newsletter, and PTA sends communication regularly via their website on PTBoard. We host parent workshops, PTA meetings, school-wide events, and parent-teacher conferences. We send paper copies of communication home to families who do not have Internet access.
