Hello!  I'm Mrs. Torres and I am a 4th grade teacher at French Creek Elementary and loving every minute!

I grew up in Berks County before heading to college in Indiana to attend Ball State University.  After graduating, I moved to Florida to pursue my teaching career.  After teaching third grade in the sunshine state for three years, I knew it was time to move back home to be with family.  I started off in Owen J. Roberts School District as a long term substitute in fourth grade before obtaining a permanent position.  After two years in third grade, I went back to teaching fourth grade. During this time, I also earned my Masters Degree in Education from Cabrini College. 

Family means the world to me.  My husband and I are blessed to have two wonderful sons, Liam and Vince, who keep us nice and busy. I love sports (especially the Eagles, GO BIRDS!), purple and Target.

It's hard to believe I'm going into my twelfth year of teaching!  Teaching has been such a great adventure thus far and I can't wait to see what this year brings!
