ART CLUB -- GRADES 1 - 3

Dear parents and guardians of North Coventry Elementary,

 I am happy and excited to announce that an art opportunity is available at our school. We are excited to offer our second year of special art classes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. Besides the regular art class, this class will provide participants with additional in-depth instruction, experimentation, and participation in visual arts. The Art Club will explore a variety of projects and clay techniques that are different from their regular art classes. Artistic opportunities vary yearly regarding availability, enrollment, medium, and experiences. I anticipate a great student interest in participating. 

This year, classes will be held twice weekly per session in the art room after school.  Several sessions will be available to keep the class size small (12 students). Please read the available dates carefully before selecting your preferred time. To ensure participation for many, please limit your children to one session.

Art Club meets after school from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please park your car in the lot in front of the gym. Then, walk to the office doors to sign your student out. 

• Session 1: September 17th & 19th

• Session 2: September 24th & 26th

• Session 3: October 8th & 10th

• Session 4: October 15th & 17th

• Session 5: October 22nd & 24th

• Session 6: November 12th & 14th

• Make-Up Session: November 19th & 21st 

If your student wants to participate in Art Club, you must sign up using School Pay.
