    Greetings and Salutations!

I hope this message finds everyone well!  We are just humming along here in room 134, as the kids have been working on incorporating new routines, new ideas, and dealing with a comically-large, cartoon bear in the front of their classroom.  Here are some of the comings and goings that might interest you:

    • Back to School night for grades 4-6 is  Wednesday, September 12th, starting at 6 pm.  There will be two sessions, one at 6 pm and the other at 7 pm.
    • Our Walk-A-Thon paperwork has gone home. There is a lot of excitement in the air regarding the ultimate goal of enhancing the playground, and this is a great tool to help forward that cause.  Please read the forms, and if you have any questions, please ask.
    • Picture day is scheduled for Thursday, September 27thand Friday, September 28th. Our time will likely be on Friday.  Picture envelopes should have gone home already.
    • Science Explorers: this is a great after-school activity for kids to do some real, live experimentation. Flyers were in the student mailboxes this week, and we will have a recruitment assembly on Thursday.
    • Our North Coventry Tailgate is coming…Friday, September 21st. See the attached flyer for more details.

That’s all the news that’s fit to print today.  I look forward to meeting many of you tomorrow night!
