Orchestra is for students in third, fourth, fifth and sixth grades who play violin, viola, cello or bass. Our orchestra students rehearse weekly before the school day and perform in Winter and Spring concerts and at special programs throughout the school year at North Coventry. Orchestra is divided into three groups: Junior Orchestra for beginners, Senior Orchestra for all 2nd-4th year players and District Orchestra for specially selected players from all five elementary buildings.
Lessons in violin, viola, cello and bass are available for students in third, fourth, fifth and sixth grades at the school free of charge, provided the student has rented or bought an instrument.
