    Request for Proposal - FARMING LAND LEASE

    The Board of Directors of the Owen J. Roberts School District is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for: Farming Land Lease. Proposals are due Monday, February 24, 2020 by 2:00 p.m. prevailing time. Proposals should be delivered in a sealed envelope marked “Farming Land Lease” addressed to Jaclin B. Krumrine, CFO, Owen J. Roberts School District, 901 Ridge Road, Pottstown, PA 19465. The District will not be responsible for late delivery of mail. The District reserves the right to waive any informalities in proposals, or to reject any or all RFP’s.

    Chiller Plant Replacement at Owen J. Roberts High School.

    The Board of School Directors of the Owen J. Roberts School District is soliciting bids for:  Chiller Plant Replacement at Owen J. Roberts High School. 

    Sealed bids will be received by Jaclin B. Krumrine, Chief Financial Officer/Board Secretary, Owen J. Roberts School District, 901 Ridge Road, Pottstown, PA  19465 until Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. prevailing time. At that time and place, sealed bids will be publicly opened and read.  The District is not responsible for late delivery of mail and no bid will be accepted after 12:00 p.m., February 26, 2020. Bidding requirements and specifications are available 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday, beginning February 11, 2020 at:  Warwick Administration Building, 3650 St. Peters Rd., Elverson, PA 19520.  The District is closed February 17, 2020.  A refundable $100.00 deposit to all bidders who submit a bid is required for the documents. Checks are made payable to the Owen J. Roberts School District. Documents will be available to prime bidders only; only complete sets of documents will be issued. All questions should be addressed in writing, in the form of email to the Project Engineer Daniel Hartlaub (dhartlaub@albanengineering.com). 

    ATTENDANCE AT A PRE-BID CONFERENCE IS REQUIRED.  The conference is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 13, 2020, and will begin at Owen J. Roberts Administration Building, 901 Ridge Road, Pottstown, PA  19465 and then proceed to the High School. 

    Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, a cashier’s check, or the bid of an approved Surety Company, in an amount of not less than 10% of the amount of the proposal. Check or bond shall be drawn in favor of the Owen J. Roberts School District. 

    Proposals may not be withdrawn by the Bidder for a period not to exceed sixty (60) calendar days following the actual date of the opening thereof, except as provided by Act No. 4 (1974) of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 

    Owen J. Roberts School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any bid irregularities as permitted under Pennsylvania law.
