Middle School/High School Swim Clinic
This is for the competitive middle school/high school swimmers. Swimmers must have at least 2 years of competitive swimming experience.
The clinic will focus on advanced technique such as fast turns, starts, breakouts and pull outs. There will also be some simple break downs of each strokes including their key roles of movement and injury prevention.
(Maximum class size: 35 combined MS/HS)
Middle School Clinic -- Monday, Wednesday and Friday -- April 1st through May 15th -- 2:45--4:00
(No clinic April 17th, 19th, 22nd due to spring break)
Resident Fee: $160
Non-Resident Fee: $185
Meet our Swim Clinic Instructors:
Coach Marty started swimming when he was six years old. He swam at the Pottstown YMCA, Sunnybrook Swim Team, Tigersharks, and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He has coached for Tigersharks and the Pottstown YMCA. Coach Marty was a distance swimmer in college. His favorite stroke is Butterfly and his favorite event is the 1000 Freestyle.
Coach Lauren started swimming competitively at the age of 6. She swam through high school and 3 years of college at Millersville University. Lauren started coaching at the age of 16 and hasn't stopped. She loves the environment, teaching the swimmers and seeing them grow and improve in the sport. She has coached for different teams in the area and is excited to be back at OJR. Lauren's favorite stroke is backstroke.
