Health Fitness Unit
Students will learn how to apply physical fitness concepts to create and establish positive lifelong wellness goals. Students will learn how to perform self-evaluations, create future goals from those evaluations, and steps to achieving those goals. The fitness unit will include current self-assessments, creation of future goals (both short and long term), ways to improve muscular strength, flexibility, endurance, agility, core training, and lifelong wellness activities. At the conclusion of the unit students will re-evaluate their journey throughout the unit and make future physical fitness goals for themselves to achieve outside of the school setting.
