Bus Passes

  • In accordance with district policy, it is imperative that students exclusively utilize their assigned buses for transportation to and from school. The issuance of bus passes is strictly reserved for emergency situations, such as sudden family illnesses or accidents resulting in the absence of a responsible individual at home to receive young children. Should there be a need for a Bus Pass, a formal, written request from the parent or guardian is mandatory.

The written request must comprehensively outline the rationale, precise location, and anticipated duration of the requested bus pass. Subsequently, written authorization from the parent or guardian must be promptly submitted to the school office for evaluation, either upon the student's arrival or earlier if applicable. Following approval, an official bus pass will be duly issued to the student, who is then responsible for presenting the pass to the assigned bus driver.

It is imperative to note that solely official bus passes issued by the school office are recognized as valid authorization. Written notes from parents, guardians, or students directly provided to the bus driver are not considered acceptable in this regard.
