• Meet The Directors


    Mr. Joshua Yoder (Theatrical Director/Producer)Mr. Yoder has been with OJRMS since 2002 and has served as the Theatrical Director and Producer for over fifteen of the schools past productions including The Wizard of Oz, The Canterbury Tales, High School Musical, and several OJR Cabaret Productions. Mr. Yoder lives in Philadelphia and has been involved in the acting community since he was a child. His credits include film and TV work as well as stage productions. Look close and you may see him as an extra in films such as Disney's INVINCIBLE, Travel Channel's MYSTERIES AT THE MUSEUM, or NYC location consultant for NETFLIX's The Movies That Made Us TV series.. He also served as an actor and manager for Eastern State Penitentiary's Halloween event Terror Behind the Walls. Aside from theatrics, Mr. Yoder teaches Social Studies here at OJR and is also an adjunct professor of WWII history with Widener University. He has advanced degrees in History, as well as in Archaeology from Leicester University in England.

    Ms. Felicia Mule (Musical Director): This is Ms. Mulé's first year at OJRMS! She has experience stage managing and music directing productions at Kennett High School and at Limelight Performing Arts Center. Ms. Mulé started performing in musicals in the 3rd grade. Some of her favorite roles have been Florinda (Into the Woods), Rusty (Footloose), Frenchy (Grease), Gabriella (HSM2), and Fastrada (Pippin). Ms. Mulé's dream role is Gertrude McFuzz (Seussical). When Ms. Mulé is not talking theater, she is teaching choir and general music class here at OJRMS. She is also in her 5th year of directing an elementary level children's choir at Paoli Presbyterian Church. This December, Ms. Mulé will graduate from West Chester University with a Masters in Choral Conducting.  

    Ms. Shick (Director of Choreography & Assistant Producer): Emily Shick has been dancing since the age of three! Throughout elementary and middle school, Mrs. Shick danced in The Eglevsky Ballet's yearly production of the Nutcracker at The Tilles Center in New York. In high school, she performed as part of The American Theater Dance Workshop's dance company, and took part in schoold and community theater, as well as off-broadway productions in New York and on tour in New Orleans. Her credits include The Wizard of Oz, The Pajama Game, Bye Bye Birdie, Grease, All My Sons (Ann), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Les Miserables, Into the Woods (Rapunzel), Romeo and Juliet, West Side Story (Rosalia), Cats (Mister Mistoffelees), Godspell, and Cabaret. In college, Mrs. Shick joined University of Delaware's Ballroom Dance Team, and danced with her partner (now husband!) in competitions all over the east coast. Their first competition was run by Arnold Schwarzenegger! Mrs. Shick has been involved with the OJRMS Thespians since 2021, and had her first choreographing "gig" in 2022's production of The Wizard of Oz.
