What are you doing April 25th?

  • Spring Dance Needs Volunteers

    CALLING ALL BRAVE SOULS—AHEM, PARENTS!

Do you enjoy awkward dance moves, the scent of Axe body spray mixed with fruit punch, and hearing the Cha Cha Slide on repeat? Then boy, do we have the event for YOU!

We’re looking for parent volunteers to help plan and/or chaperone the upcoming Middle School Dance—aka the most exciting, glitter-filled, slightly chaotic night of the semester.

    WHAT WE NEED:
We are looking for AT LEAST 40 confirmed volunteers (w/ clearances) to chaperone the dance before we can start selling tickets. The dance CANNOT HAPPEN without a MINIMUM of 40 volunteers! Don't worry ...it's easy. Your kid may pretend they don’t know you, but deep down, they’ll thank you (someday… probably… maybe).

We are also seeking volunteers for the following committees:
    • Decorations: Assist with creating a fun and festive atmosphere.
    • Food: Help with coordinating snacks and refreshments.
    • Volunteer: Help fill chaperone spots and communicate with volunteers.
SIGN UP NOW and help us make this dance a night to remember!

REMEMBER: Clearances are needed. It's easy to get them. More information about volunteering can be found on the district's website:Volunteer Information

Spring Dance Volunteers Needed

  • Spring Dance Volunteers Needed

We are excited to host a Spring Dance for 7th and 8th grade Middle School students on Friday, April 25th, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at OJR Middle School!

To make this event a success, we need the support of chaperones and volunteers for various committees. We are looking for at least 40 confirmed volunteers (with clearances on file) to chaperone the dance before we can start selling tickets.

In addition to chaperones, we are also seeking volunteers for the following committees:

    • Decorations: Assist with creating a fun and festive atmosphere.
    • Food: Help with coordinating snacks and refreshments.
    • Volunteer: Help fill chaperone spots and communicate with volunteers.
These dances typically draw a large crowd—our winter dance had over 400 students attend—so it's crucial to have enough volunteers to ensure the safety and smooth operation of the event. If you already have an approved volunteer application for the Middle School, please sign up to help!
