Chapter 339
-
Pennsylvania requires all school districts to have a K-12 Guidance Plan as required by Chapter 339 Career and Technical Education Standards. The plan supports and helps guide our continuum of all-inclusive services K-12.
The plan is board approved and submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) on a typical 5-year rotation.
Although board approval and PDE submission occurs about every 5 years, the plan will be analyzed on an annual basis.
The School Guidance Plan is directly correlated and aligned to the Pennsylvania Career Education and Work Standards. Domains addressed in the plan include:
- Academic
- Career
- Personal
- Social
