• WELCOME TO SPORTS MARKETING!!!! Sports Marketing is the business side of sports. This course encompasses planning, implementing and controlling marketing activities as they relate to athletic teams, sports venues and related products and services. Students who take this course will have working understanding of marketing’s role in sports and sports-related organizations and will help students develop skills in applying fundamental marketing concepts. In addition, the Sports Marketing course introduces strategic marketing concepts, value-added marketing and promotional strategies while developing strong communication and analytical skills. As part of the curriculum, students will be involved in academic preparation for competitive events in DECA and will learn introductory and intermediate level presentation software procedures to create presentations for coursework and professional purposes.

    REQUIRED RESOURCES:  1” Binder with 4 dividers and calculator, download/signup for the following free smartphone/Ipod apps ( Dropbox, Flashlight (must be able to change colors), EasyBib)
