Karil Abrahamsen is a biology teacher at Owen J. Roberts High School. She teaches honors biology and human anatomy & physiology. During laboratory exercises, Karil's students learn a wide variety of laboratory techniques and are challenged to think analytically. Students master biological terms and concepts as they read, write, and present.

 

Karil Abrahamsen holds  B.S. in Biology from Hobart William Smith College in Geneva, New York  and a Ph.D. in Human Anatomy & Cell Biology from Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia. 

 

Karil joined the teacher staff of Owen J Roberts High School in September 2001. During the last 14 years at OJR, she and her fellow biology teachers have developed an investigative laboratory curriculum, partnering with Ursinus College's, Science in Motion program. She previously taught biology at the Center for Economics and Law Charter School in Philadelphia while earning her certificate of secondary education at Immaculata college.
