Chemistry is a branch of physical science that studies the composition, structure, properties and change of matter. Chemistry is chiefly concerned with atoms and molecules and their interactions and transformations. Our study of chemistry this year will bring new insights to real world experiences.

Physical Science combines a semester of chemistry with a semester of physics. In physics we will study the nature of matter and energy. Units will focus on motion, the energy of motion, and electricity. We will be building on prior knowledge and focusing on how the world works.

Earth Science is an expansive subject in which we delve into how the different parts of the planet function and how one affects another. We will spend time exploring the Earth on which we live, the atmosphere that makes life possible, and the greater universe that boggles the imagination.

It is my goal to share my passion for science with you so that you will be equipped with necessary components to become an informed citizen as well as offering new discoveries to our world.
