Welcome to Owen J. Roberts!!  I am the High School IEP Facilitator.  I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Bloomsburg University, a Master of Education degree in Special Education from Millersville University and a Supervisory Certification in Special Education from Penn State University.

   I have over 27 years of experience in Special Education.  I spent four years as a secondary Emotional Support teacher (grades 7 through 12), nine years as a middle school Learning Support teacher (grades 7 and 8) and I have been an IEP Facilitator at OJR since October 2007.

   My primary job responsiblities include:

         -LEA (Local Educational Agent)

               -I represent the District at on- and off-campus IEP meetings

         -SAT accommodations coordinator

         -ACT accommodations coordinator

         -ESY coordinator (grades 8 - 12+)

         -Consultant to Special Education and Gifted Education teachers

         -Liaison for secondary students with IEPs who attend classes through Brandywine Virtual Academy
