Summer Advanced Writer's Workshop
For a week, you'll be completely immersed in the world of creative writing, while living on our beautiful rural Pennsylvania campus with other high school poets and fiction writers.
The Summer Advanced Writers Workshop features:
- Workshops in fiction, creative nonfiction and poetry
- Small classes to ensure personal attention and individual conferencing
It is open to experienced writers entering 11th or 12th grade in the fall of 2017.
Faculty will not only help you with your writing, they'll also talk to you about what it means to be a working author-from developing regular work habits, to overcoming writers block, to what it's like to sign a contract and see your own book appear on shelves.
In recent years, The Princeton Review chose the Summer Writers Workshop as one of the coolest summer camp activities for American teenagers.
Attendees are selected based on teacher or counselor recommendations and the quality of their portfolio submission.
