The Owen J. Roberts High School Wildcat Rowing Crew Club is competitive rowing program for grades nine (9) through twelve. It is a district-sanctioned club run, administrated and funded by a 501(c)(3) non-profit, parent organization.
Our team teaches and trains new rowers to compete with approximately 85 clubs and Varsity & Junior Varsity high school programs regionally in both the fall and spring seasons. We compete with over 120 teams nationally and internationally at the Stotebury Cup Regatta in late spring. We train as a team throughout the winter. Our rowing fleet and equipment are contained in a boathouse in Royerford from which we train daily on the Schuylkill River. Our competitive team holds tryouts each fall and spring season to fill our roster with rowing student athletes. The club and fleet can currently accommodate 28 rowers and coxswain.
