When you find a calling in life, you stick with it!  I am the Community Connections teacher for students with special needs at OJRHS and thoroughly enjoy teaching young adults from the ages of 18 to 21 years.  I have been working with or teaching students with various disabilities for over 25 years and still enjoy every minute of it!  My passion for teaching students with different needs derived from my long-standing patience and the willingness to go above and beyond to help others move towards success.  My students, past and present, teach me new facets about myself and I am still learning every day.  A teacher is in essence a student at heart and never stops learning!
Personally, I enjoy spending time with my boys and I also like to run long distance and play with my two energetic chocolate labs on sunny days.  I enjoy a large variety of music genres and enjoy dancing to the beat!  My hobbies include reading novels and drawing.
