• The following documents will assist student in preparing for the Spanish 1 Final.  All student have hard copies of these final exam preparation documents.  Just a reminder, students must earn a total of a 74% on the exam to move on to Spanish 2.  There are 3 parts to the exam: listening, speaking and the written multiple choice portion. 
     
    Students should write out sample sentences that describe the pictures they received and practice saying them to prepare for the oral exam.

    Welcome to Spanish Class

    Dear families:

     

    I wanted to provide you with some important links to help the students be successful this year in Spanish Class.

     

    The students will receive a textbook that they must cover (a browngrocery bag is truly the best kind).  The books may be kept in the classroom or taken home and brought back daily.  If the student prefers to leave the book in the classroom, the book can be accessed on-line.  Our book is called Avancemos. Please use the link to explore.

    Username: (regular login- year of graduation, first initial, last name)

    Password: student ID #

     

    The on-line book has flashcards with audio, access to videos, readings and much more.

     

    Also, check out @HOMEtutor level 1. It is leveled for learners (beginner, intermediate, advanced) so you can start where you need and work your way up as you improve. 

     

    Classzone.com (level1—Span 1 & 2) has verb conjugation practice, the @HOMEtutor site, animated grammar to explain/reinforce concepts, flashcards, self-check quizzes and more.
