Welcome to Owen J. Roberts High School! I have been a member of the OJR high school community since December 2020 and have served as the Principal since the 2021-2022 school year. We are lucky to have an exceptional community here at the high school with so many talented and hard-working individuals. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to work with this community.    

Prior to coming to OJR, I had seventeen years of experience working in public education, twelve of which had been as an administrator. After graduating from Boston College in 2003 with a B.S. in Biochemistry, I moved to Philadelphia to teach chemistry at Martin Luther King High School. In 2007, I joined Mastery Schools – Lenfest Campus where I worked as an Assistant Principal for Instruction. Three years later, I had the opportunity to transition to the role of Principal at Mastery – Lenfest, where I remained until 2016, while also earning a M.Ed. at the University of Pennsylvania. For the next four years I lived in Spokane, Washington where I worked as an Assistant Principal at Glover Middle School. While I came to love the Inland Northwest, I returned to this area in the summer of 2020 to be closer to my extended family while my wife and I raise our two small children.
