OJR & IU Dual Enrollment Courses
-
Owen J Roberts High School is proud to partner with Immaculata University to offer a variety of dual-enrollment courses.
Dual enrollment is completely voluntary, the courses are taken right here at OJRHS and taught by our teachers. Students who are enrolled in these courses have the option to register with Immaculata University and obtain college credits while also earning high school credit. There is no extra/outside coursework or testing required in order to receive dual credit, students just do the coursework within their OJR course, and must earn a C or better in the course.
OJR courses that are approved for dual enrollment will be calculated in student GPA at the AP weight.
Please view the document below to see which OJR courses are approved for dual enrollment and their IU equivalent.

Please use the link below and follow the steps outlined on IU's website:
Important Information:
- The cost for registration is $125 per IU credit.
- Some courses can be taken in fall and spring for a total of 6 college credits. In these cases, students must register for both semesters to get the full 6 credits. Otherwise, students may opt to just register for fall or spring to receive 3 college credits.
- Students must earn a grade of C or better to receive college credit. See OJR Student Handbook: Grading.
Note: Fall 2024 IU course grades are based on midyear OJR grades (January). Spring 2025 IU course grades are based on final OJR grades (June).
Basic overview of the registration process:
- The application page collects demographic information and requires FERPA sign-off from a parent. (what is FERPA?)
- On the second page, students can view the courses offered and select the ones they wish to register for.
- The payment page completes the registration process.
- After registration, students will get an email with their MyIU portal username and instructions for setting up their password. The email will also provide contact details for the IU Help Desk in case any issues arise.
NOTE: It is recommended that you use a personal email address for registration. DO NOT USE Student's @OJRSD.NET Email.
